La influencer ha sido condenada a siete años de prisión, 74 latigazos y tres meses de trabajo no remunerado. ¿El motivo? Publicar fotos de sí misma haciendo ejercicio sin velo, escribir sobre su familia y tratar, en contadas ocasiones, cuestiones sociales o políticas.
Ahmad Moin Shirazi, por su parte, ha sido sentenciado a nueve años de prisión por compartir publicaciones en su perfil que denunciaban la corrupción de las autoridades, la pobreza y la falta de libertad en el país, pero también por las muestras de amor hacia su esposa.
«Me llamaron corrupto», relató. «Pero lo peor para ellos fueron las fotos de Shabnam sin velo al lado de mi madre. No podían soportar la idea de que la gente empiece a pensar que ambos géneros, velados y descubiertos, pueden coexistir en Irán».
Su defensa intentará apelar el veredicto.
